Councillor Fiona Clegg was elected the new Town Mayor of Burnham on Crouch at a meeting of the Town Council on the morning of 24 July 2020.
The meeting was held online due to Covid-19. Mayoral elections are usually in May, but 2020’s election was delayed by the pandemic.
Councillor Clegg was elected unopposed.
Councillor Nick Skeens remained in his post as Deputy Mayor.
