Burnham on Crouch has its own fire station, on Albert Road.

Call 999 or 112 if you can smell gas or have a fire.

The fire station & the community

The fire station runs an annual Open Day, usually in August (see the Town Calendar). It typically includes demonstrations and exhibitions of fire service equipment and vehicles, games, food, displays from the fire service, police and first responders, plus, usually, a charity raffle and a bouncy castle.

Drill nights are a monday evening from 7pm. This is the training night for the local fire station and anyone is welcome to attend to discuss their concerns, get advice or just see what we do.  Group visits are welcome, (e.g. Scouts or Guides) – for more, email finbar.tubby@essex-fire.gov.uk.

If you’re interested in joining the local fire service, pop in on drill nights, or use the email above or click on the link below.
