Each Christmas, the Burnham on Crouch Carnival Committee brings you the Festive Street Fayre in the High Street, usually in the second week of December, on a Saturday, usually from 2pm – 6pm.

The High Street is closed off to traffic from Chapel Road to Silver Road from 10am till 8pm.

See the blue boxes below for pictures from each year.

The Festive Street Fayre offers plenty to do for all the family, including fairground-style rides and bouncy castles, Christmas market stalls, food and drinks stalls, a brass band, school choirs, face-painting and a raffle.

The Festive Fayre was conceived by Fiona Clegg.

The Carnival Committee presents cheques to local charities and good causes from money raised by the Carnival.

Then Santa arrives to give away free sweets.

There will be a collection for local charities and good causes. Please give generously.
