Rice & Cole boatyard was established in the 1940s.

Situated to the east of the town centre beyond the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, it has a pontoon, a large crane and is popular with sailing enthusiasts.

Turn right at the Victoria Inn and follow the road as far as it goes.

Its engineers and craftsmen have a good reputation for their repair and maintenance work on boats of most sizes.

There is an independent chandlery on site for all the bits and bobs you need for maintaining a boat.

It also has an extensive and well-equipped caravan park.
