The people of Burnham, via Burnham Town Council, put on a wonderful display of fireworks at the end of each Burnham Week.

The fireworks are now launched from a raft in the middle of the river, more or less opposite the White Harte, and they always look, and sound, spectacular.

At this time of the year it is usually dark by 9pm, which is when they tend to start.

The Fireworks are organised by Burnham Week Ltd (formerly the Joint Clubs Committee or JCC). Councillor Bob Calver represents the Town Council on this organisation.
