Burnham is lucky enough to still have a small cinema in town, showing all the latest movie releases.

It is one of the few remaining ‘village’ cinemas in Britain. As you can see from the picture, it was established in 1931.

It is at 154 Station Rd, Burnham on Crouch CM0 8HJ, which, as you head downtown, is just past the Tesco Express and on your left.

It has two screens. It costs well under a fiver to watch a film and the picture quality is every bit as good as larger cinemas – the sound quality is especially good in the smaller of the two screening rooms.
